FIFA has officially announced the list of training camp locations for the national teams participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will kick off on June 11 across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, featuring 48 teams for the first time in the tournament’s history.
FIFA stated that 39 national teams will establish their camps in the United States, while seven teams selected Mexico and two opted for Canada, following approval of Iran’s request to move its base from the United States to Mexico.
Among the Arab teams, seven will be based in the United States: Morocco in New York/New Jersey, Egypt in Spokane, Saudi Arabia in Austin, Algeria in Kansas City, Qatar in Santa Barbara, Jordan in Portland, and Iraq in Greenbrier. Tunisia will be the only Arab team based in Mexico, choosing Monterrey as its headquarters.
FIFA confirmed that the selection of training sites followed an extensive evaluation process involving more than 60 options to ensure optimal preparation and stability for teams during the tournament.
