Morocco moved closer to securing a place in the Round of 32 after defeating Scotland 1-0 in their second Group C match.

Ismael Saibari scored the only goal of the match just over a minute after kickoff, recording the fastest goal of the tournament so far.

The Atlas Lions controlled much of the contest and raised their tally to four points, temporarily moving to the top of the group and strengthening their chances of progressing to the knockout stage.
