Mutual drone attacks involving hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicles between Russia and Ukraine have left eight people dead on both sides.

Kyiv announced strikes targeting Russian vessels, including a missile carrier and oil tankers, while casualties were also reported in multiple Russian and Ukrainian regions.

The Ukrainian president vowed to intensify strikes if Russian attacks continue, amid ongoing escalation affecting energy infrastructure and further complicating the conflict.
