FIFA has announced the launch of a new video game titled “FIFA World Cup: Inaugural Edition” through the Netflix Games platform, coinciding with the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The game will be available exclusively to Netflix subscribers at no additional cost, allowing players to choose any of the 48 participating national teams and compete in matches across official tournament venues.
The project is part of FIFA’s new digital strategy following the end of its long-standing partnership with EA Sports and its shift toward a multi-partner model.
