Food Insecurity Worsens in Lebanon Amid Ongoing Conflict

A UN report indicates that around a quarter of Lebanon’s population is facing acute levels of food insecurity due to ongoing Israeli military actions and rising displacement since March 2026.

More than 1.24 million people are classified in the “crisis” phase, amid economic decline and rising food prices.

Continued ceasefire violations are further complicating the humanitarian situation.
