Israeli occupation’s public broadcaster reported that a preliminary military investigation concluded that four soldiers, including an armored battalion commander, were killed after their tank was struck during an operation in the southern Lebanese town of Kfartebnit.
According to the investigation, the Merkava tank was targeted by a drone or another attack system allegedly operated by Hezbollah.
Hezbollah had earlier announced the destruction of three tanks and claimed casualties among Israeli forces amid ongoing hostilities despite reports of ceasefire understandings.
