The Moroccan national team has entered the final phase of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup by announcing an expanded 28-player squad ahead of a closed training camp and a series of friendly matches before the tournament begins.
The squad includes Lille talent Ayyoub Bouaddi for the first time after completing the procedures to officially represent Morocco.
Meanwhile, prominent names such as Yassine Bounou, Achraf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui, and Azzedine Ounahi were left out in a move aimed at resting key players and testing younger talents.
The Atlas Lions are scheduled to play friendly matches against Burundi, Madagascar, and Norway.
