A drone struck a fuel station in Al-Abbasiya, South Kordofan State, on Tuesday, causing deaths and injuries and destroying the facility, according to local sources.
The strike reportedly ignited fires at the station and several vehicles. The Nuba Mountains platform blamed the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), reporting civilian casualties. Neither the army nor the RSF immediately commented.
The attack followed reports that 16 power stations had been targeted across Sudan within a week.
Sudanese authorities also accused Ethiopia of involvement in drone attacks allegedly launched from its territory. Addis Ababa had not commented on those allegations, which remain unverified.
