Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced that the death toll since October 2023 has risen to more than 72,000, in addition to tens of thousands of wounded.

It noted continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, leading to further casualties.

The enclave is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis due to widespread destruction of infrastructure.
