A member of Iran’s negotiating team revealed that ongoing talks with the United States in Switzerland have resulted in a draft agreement that includes a temporary lifting of U.S. sanctions on Iran’s oil sector and related products.
He said discussions are currently focused on implementation mechanisms for parts of the memorandum of understanding, including the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the release of frozen Iranian assets.
The negotiations are part of broader efforts to reduce regional tensions and reach a final agreement between the two sides.
