Sudan’s Emergency Lawyers Association reported that dozens of civilians were injured after a drone operated by the Rapid Support Forces targeted a fuel tanker near a school district in El-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State.
The organization said the attack triggered widespread panic among students and residents, amid warnings of a worsening humanitarian situation in the city.
It added that repeated attacks on fuel tankers have disrupted transportation, increased prices of essential goods, and placed additional pressure on the healthcare sector.
